Meet Pam Mintz, M.S.,B.S.
Caprice Smith and her team announced new team member Pamela Mintz, the founder of “I Inspire to Write” Author’s Expo and Ms. Baltimore 2015 of the Ms. Corporate America Pageant. Mintz competed in the national pageant and won best interview against women from all over the country. Mintz will use her corporate level skills in fundraising, communication and experience working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop SharperMinds.
Smith describes her as a woman who is driven, sharp and groomed for the position. Mintz served as the community liaison for SharperMinds for the past three year. Mintz is an author and radio host, but more importantly she is also a domestic abuse survivor; she shared, “As a survivor of domestic violence, I am a believer in reach one, save one when faced with saving a person from a domestic situation. We never truly understand why God allows us to experience tragic situations that seem unfair. Today, I know I survived because my domestic violated sisters and brothers need a strong voice. As the mother of a child that was bullied and a child that bullied, I understand both sides of that coin. I can sympathize with the parent whose heart is broken as she tries to comfort her child who is deathly afraid to go to school. I understand the parent who doesn’t know why her child is bullying another child. Again, my experiences govern my need to help another parent in need.” Mintz promises to carry on the traditions of SharperMinds.
